Govert Viergever. Naast blogger ook Olympisch roeier. Zijn geringe lengte (1.83m) weerhield hem er niet van om het hoogst haalbare na te jagen in een sport waar de atleten allemaal rond de twee meter hoog meten. Het liefst doet hij dat met een knipoog en een lach op zijn gezicht. Want roeien is slechts de belangrijkste bijzaak in het leven.
Govert is naast zijn normale training op zoek gegaan naar alles wat hem een extra procent kon opleveren. Eerst en vooral dook hij onder in de voedingswetenschap, om terug te komen met de grootste biceps van roeiend Nederland. Toen hij ontdekte dat biceps aangenaam zijn, maar niet perse datgene is waar de gouden medaille mee thuis komt, is hij naar binnen gekeerd. Een lange radiostilte stelde hem in staat om te leren mediteren, van onder andere Wim Hof the Iceman himself, toen iedereen dat nog een gekkie vond. Nu is brein en bicep in balans en is Govert terug. Hij is geen centimeter langer, maar toch gegroeid. En hij is vastberaden, nog steeds op zoek naar procenten en op jacht naar het hoogst haalbare.
